RAW HAIR CARE GUIDE

Raw hair behaves like natural hair and requires consistent care to maintain its softness, longevity, and natural movement.
Washing:
Wash every 7–10 days or as needed.
- Use a sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo.
- Shampoo in a downward motion to preserve the cuticle.
Conditioning:
Always follow with a rich moisturizing conditioner.
- Deep condition every 2–3 weeks to maintain elasticity and shine.
Moisture & Styling:
Apply a light leave-in conditioner or serum.
- Avoid heavy oils or grease that may cause buildup.
- Heat styling is allowed, but always use a heat protectant and keep tools under 400°F.
Drying:
Air-dry when possible.
- If blow-drying, use medium heat with a concentrator nozzle.
Night Care:
Wrap hair in a silk or satin bonnet/scarf.
- For installs, braid or tie hair loosely before bed.

Washing:
- Wash every 7–10 days.
- Use a gentle moisturizing shampoo.
- Avoid excessive scrubbing to reduce tangling.
Conditioning:
- Condition after every wash.
- Deep condition once a month to keep hair soft and manageable.
Styling & Heat:
- Brazilian hair holds curls and straight styles well.
- Always apply a heat protectant before styling.
- Limit daily heat to extend the life of the hair.
Products to Use:
- Lightweight serums
- Leave-in conditioners
- Curl creams (for wavy/curly textures)
Products to Avoid:
- Alcohol-based sprays
- Heavy oils
- Excessive product layering
